Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We believe hospitality is only meaningful when every guest feels welcome. This statement outlines steps we take across digital and physical spaces, and how to share feedback.

Our commitments

Step-free welcomes

Every Lapen Inns offers level access or portable ramps plus clearly marked accessible restrooms, matching the facilities listed in each venue's access guide.

Family & sensory support

Highchairs, kids' menus, baby-changing stations, and quieter snugs are available alongside sensory toolkits, subtitles on key screens, and adjustable music levels.

Dietary flexibility

Chefs handle gluten-aware prep, vegan swaps, halal proteins, and custom spice levels on request, with cross-contact notes shared during ordering.

Responsive communication

Guests can flag requirements via email or phone ahead of time, receive confirmation within 24 hours, and get on-site assistance from trained managers.

Digital accessibility

Our website aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines. We audit quarterly, support keyboard navigation, maintain high contrast ratios, and honour reduced motion preferences.

Restaurant experience

Each restaurant publishes a detailed access guide covering entrances, restroom facilities, lighting, sound levels, and seating options. Portable ramps, large-print menus, and sensory toolkits are available on request.

Feedback

We welcome suggestions on how to improve accessibility. Write to info@lapeninns.com with “Accessibility feedback” in the subject line.
